March 12th, 2015 Newsletter

This is very important:  if you have read this newsletter, text Brenda at 306-861-8642 or email her at king.enterprises@sasktel.net to let her know you have read it.  The counter indicates very few read the newsletter and I want to see if that is true or if it is counting wrong.

The 50/50 will soon approach $500!  Buy tickets.  Buy lots of tickets.
Your chance of drawing the queen of diamonds improves every week.
Only Stafford thought the joke was funny!  Maybe it was one of Dale's.  Oh, wait!
Not even Stafford thinks Dale's jokes are funny.
The Ukrainian meal before the Poltava Dancers was a great opportunity
for our club to pair with another group.
A local dance group entertained during the meal and they
were cuteness personified.
The ticket sellers had front row seats for the little dancers.
Rotarians and their partners also supported the event by eating.
Stan Ganczar and his group were the true organizers.
Everyone had smiles.
Yum!

This photo makes it look like it's still in the days when women couldn't be Rotarians.
Here's Stafford with some of our archives.
Thanks to the Rotarians who helped with the city's WInterfest.  Finally there was a year when it was warm enough to be held.

Next week's program is the celebration of Stafford's and Ray Yurkowski's forty years with Rotary.  You don't want to miss it!  It's in the Tatagwa Conference Room (come through main doors) and will be February 19th at noon.  Let Duane know you'r coming if he doesn't already know.

She's also helping with the Comp orange/apple/cookie dough sale.

Those of us who have pens like this, usually keep them well protected as they are the best pens anywhere.  This one was left on a table at last week's meeting.  I think I know who it belongs to but I can't be sure so maybe I better keep it for myself!
A questionable Rotarian had his pocket full of queen of diamonds so that when his name was drawn for the 50/50, he could collect the $425.50.  Luckily Jill and Bob were skeptical and refused the payout.  Get your tickets each week as the odds get better and better.
