Community Donations & Paul Harris Awards

On the evening of May 29th, 2014, the Rotary Club of Weyburn hosted an evening meeting to distribute the last of the charity money for the 2013-14 year and to honor Paul Harris recipients.

All meetings are good times to socialize but even more so when partners and guests attend.
We teased Hiroki that he is a "chick magnet."  That's politically incorrect but so much fun to kid him about.  What great chicks!  Hey, if I'm going to be politically incorrect, I may as well be twice.
Denis was busy making monetary presentations:
To Big Brothers/Big Sisters:
To the Salvation Army Children's Camp:
To the Weyburn Care-a-Van Society:
To the Weyburn Legion:
To the Soo Line Historical Museum:
To Weyburn's Habitat for Humanity:
It was great to have Weyburn's first Habitat for Humanity family at the meeting.
To the Weyburn Old Time Fiddlers' Contest:
To the Weyburn Therapeutic Park:
To the Weyburn Hospital Foundation:
At the same time an announcement was made about the Rotary Club of Weyburn's $50,000 pledge to the Hospital Foundation to be paid in 2025.

To the Weyburn Humane Society:

To the Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop:

And to the Weyburn Combo Bowlers:
Here's the entire group:
As well, cheques will be mailed to Camp Easter Seal and the Canadian Food Grains Bank.  Now our commitments for 2013-14 are fulfilled.

Next it was on to the presentation of Paul Harris Fellows.
Jill received her Paul Harris as did Marilyn Schuck.  Ron Milleker, who was not in attendance, received one as well.

April and Vance both received their Paul Harris +1.  So did Terry and Vic who were not in attendance.

Tom Schuck received his Paul Harris +2.
Duane and Alex received their Paul Harris +3.  Alex was at the event earlier but had to leave before the presentation.
