December 4th, 2014 Newsletter

December is Family Month

The Weyburn Review always give our club good coverage.  Thanks, Greg!
Chocolate and Nut Tray construction went very smoothly and the product looks great.  Thanks to the organizers, the sellers, and all helpers.

Last week Doug practised one of his dramatic faces for the Crocus 80 production.
These fellows all reacted differently to seeing Doug's mug.
It was good to see Alvena all smiles at the meeting.
November's program chair brought in guest speaker Sarah Satre who shared a Rotary Wellness Challenge with us.  I'm in.  Are you?

Doug found this avid fan waiting at the stage door for a photo op and an autograph.
Meals on Wheels:  December 10th - Michele Craigen, December 17th - Alvena Dubnyk, December 24th - Anna Fish

Emilie's Drivers:  December 11th - Denis Tremblay, December 18th - Laraine Tremblay
(no meetings December 25th & January 1st)

Birthdays:  December 7th - Willa Stephenson, December 8th - Alex Miles

Anniversaries:  none

How well do you know your fellow Rotarians?
Last week's question:  How many in our club are taking a warm winter vacation?  I stopped counting after ten, so the answer is A LOT!

This week's question:  Judi was given these earrings in a Rotary gift exchange ten or more years ago.  She's never lost them, she cherishes them, and she wears them often.  She's often wondered who the kind Rotarian was.  Can anyone give the answer?
